Ian (AKA Dink) has played in a punk band since the last year that he should have been going to school. His first band, Post Mortem, was infamous across the North West of England in the early eighties. As the band literally exploded in a spectacular and particularly stupid car crash, he went on to form various bands with fellow apprentice, close mate and drummer Chris Evans. Ian followed Chris into higher education when he enrolled on the same degree course at Bucks College.

The plan to use the course as an excuse to play in a band, meet girls and get hideously drunk at parties was in part thwarted by the fact that they both turned out to be extremely gifted artist/designers. This resulted in them working very hard at college, meeting girls and getting hideously drunk at parties. They still found time to play occasionally and it was while at Bucks College that they met the third member of the Band, Dazza, who was also studying 3D design.

In Sept 08 the three of them decided it was time to stop fucking around, wrote some new material and formed a new band, ’The Model Workers’. With the help the fourth model worker, film maker John Merriot, they now have one of the tightest, nastiest, kick ass live bands in the country.
